Volunteer with Seed
We strive to provide opportunities for impact, community, and growth

Impact
Leverage your skills and expertise to support environmental organizations and projects in your community.

Community
Join a community of passionate professionals from diverse industries backgrounds. We host socials like hiking and happy hours as well as virtual cross-chapter networking events.

Growth
Sharpen your professional skills on challenging, fast-paced projects, attend free trainings and certifications, or develop your leadership skills as a member of our leadership teams.

1
Apply, interview, onboard
After applying, a member of your chapter leadership will reach out to set up an interview to better understand how your values align with our mission and how your skills can contribute to our clients' success.

Once accepted, your onboarding will include completing the Seed University curriculum and a virtual retreat.
2
Join a project team
You will join a team of 4-5 other passionate volunteers for an 8-10 week project. Each week will include a 1-2 hour team meeting and 3-5 hours of individual work.
Projects also include a midpoint and final deliverable with your client, as well as socials and professional development opportunities with your chapter and across the organization.
3
Grow with us
Come back for another project as a senior consultant or project manager, or join our chapter and national leadership teams, where you can gain hands on experience with nonprofit management, project scoping, and much more. You can also stay involved as an alumni by coming to Seed socials and professional development events or serve as a subject matter expert for future cycles.
Join us!
Applications for our Fall 2023 projects are now closed. However, you can submit an early application for our Spring 2024 cycle. You can also reach out about our opportunities to join our national leadership team where you can help us expand our impact and better serve our clients and volunteers.
